Censorship Sucks

Who is this infernal internal censor blanking out my thoughts?
From what nothing did this moral robot spring?
Deleting frequently sentences of apparent randomness
Conjured from abysses of my free consciousness
From which all creation proceeds to exist...
Its like chopping a tree down to see the forests!
And then there's no trees left for anyone to enjoy!
So why would i just write this?
What, exactly, would be the point?
Concisely, the point would be
I'm just an extension of Love's Expression
Using words as a blessing
Not a weapon
I simply author many questions

The CIA kills peacemakers?

http://existentialistcowboy.blogspot.com/2008/03/evidence-that-cia-murdered-rfk.html

A new BBC documentary supports the conclusion that the CIA planned and executed the assassination of Robert Kennedy. The new video and photographic evidence -- the result of a three year long investigation --"puts three senior CIA operatives" at the scene of the murder.

Three of these men have been positively identified as senior officers who worked together in 1963 at JMWAVE, the CIA's Miami base for its Secret War on Castro.

David Morales was Chief of Operations and once told friends: "I was in Dallas when we got the son of a bitch and I was in Los Angeles when we got the little bastard."

Gordon Campbell was Chief of Maritime Operations and George Joannides was Chief of Psychological Warfare Operations.

Joannides was called out of retirement in 1978 to act as the CIA liaison to the Congressional investigation into the JFK assassination. Now, we see him at the Ambassador Hotel the night a second Kennedy is assassinated.

--CIA role in Kennedy killing

As with the 1963 murder of JFK in Dallas, lingering questions dog the official theories. Powder burns indicated that three shots had been fired from very close range from 0 to 1-1/2 inches though no witness could place Sirhan closer than three feet. Sirhan's gun held only eight bullets but a total of ten were recovered. Three were found in Kennedy. Two were lodged in a pantry door frame. One was found in an airspace. Presumably four more were found elsewhere. Significantly, four bullets 'touched' Kennedy to include the three that were recovered --lodged --in his back. At no time was Sirhan ever behind RFK.

Inexcusably, the door frames were burned, the Los Angeles Police Dept. claimed no bullets were found lodged in the "bullet holes", and two expended bullets (inexplicably dug out of wood) were soon found in the front seat of Sirhan's car. The LAPD then destroyed their records of the tests that had been done on the "bullet holes" in the doorframe.

--Facts about the Robert F. Kennedy Assassination

Found on the Ron Paul forum:

When the hypnotized patsy, Sirhan Sirhan, opened fire on Robert Kennedy from the front, a CIA agent fired the kill shot at close range into the back of Kennedy's head.

The same agent who coordinated the operation and was at the scene, was later brought out of retirement to "handle" the congressional investigation into the assassination.

All 3 members of the assassination team are now dead, but many of those connected to them still hold high offices in government.

The BBC report by Shane O'Sullivane reveals that CIA operatives and four unidentified associates were at the Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles the night of June 5, 1968, moments before and after the murder. It was broadcast on BBC Newsnight.

The CIA had no domestic jurisdiction and some of the officers were based in South-East Asia at the time, with no reason to be in Los Angeles.

Kennedy had just won the California Democratic primary on an anti-War ticket and was set to challenge Nixon for the White House when he was shot in a kitchen pantry.

A 24-year-old Palestinian, Sirhan Sirhan, was arrested as the lone assassin and notebooks at his house seemed to incriminate him.

However, even under hypnosis, he has never been able to remember the shooting and defence psychiatrists concluded he was in a trance at the time.

Witnesses placed Sirhan's gun several feet in front of Kennedy but the autopsy showed the fatal shot came from one inch behind.

--CIA role in Kennedy killing

It is not surprising that the CIA would be implicated in the murder of RFK. It is tragic that the same scrutiny was not forthcoming sooner --when it might have done some good. It is tragic that the murder of JFK was not likewise scrutinized. It is tragic that the investigation of this murder was left in the hands of an incompetent Los Angeles Police Department about which there is no adjective to describe the utter incompetence given this case. Earlier there was no adjective to describe the criminal neglect given the murder of JFK in Dallas!

The world's number one terrorist organization, the CIA has committed heinous acts of terrorism abroad, murdering critics of US foreign and domestic policies and has done it on behalf of an increasingly tiny, privileged American elite. This tiny elite of some one percent owns more than the combined wealth of 95% of the entire population. [See: the L-Curve] On behalf of this tiny, privileged base, the CIA has placed itself above law and supervision. The CIA's war on the world has claimed an estimated 12 million to 20 million victims, far more than the best estimates attributed to Adolph Hitler's 'Holocaust' of World War II.

Evidence That the CIA Murdered Bobby Kennedy

The RFK assassination was, like the assassinations of JFK, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King, Jr., and other prominent figures, a political murder committed by operatives and agents of the US government (including, but limited to, the CIA and FBI), in conjunction with local police (operating as CIA cutouts), and intelligence-connected organized crime figures and mercenaries.

There is overwhelming evidence that the RFK murder was a CIA operation involving the Los Angeles Police Department.

More proof continues to emerge, including this fresh piece of evidence uncovered by BBC investigator Shane O’Sullivan. Conducting research for his own film on the RFK assassination, O’Sullivan has identified and corroborated the presence and identities of three former CIA operatives at the crime scene:

Michael Ruppert, former Los Angeles Police detective, author, journalist and editor of From The Wilderness, conducted his own investigation of the RFK assassination, tapping into inside contacts deep within the LAPD. His investigation definitively proves that the assassination was a CIA operation, and names some of the perpetrators:

-- Is this surprising to anyone? .. or are we just getting used to the fact that a covert operation paid for with US taxpayer money is the cause of death for many a peacemaker?

Ever seen the movie "The Secret"?

This is a quote from William Walker Atkinson's "The Secret of Mental Magic", copyright 1907, A.K.A. MY NEW FAVORITE BOOK. It's the original source material for the movie "The Secret".

I might have to post quotes from this book randomly, just to share the Secret with ya'll. Here's just a little gist:

DESIRE THE MENTAL INCITER

"DESIRE is the great inciting power of the Mind. Desire is "that which incites to action." And you always act upon the strongest Desire- subject always to the restraining influence of the Reason, and the Restricting or Impelling influence of the WILL. I will tell you more about this wonderful thing, the Will, in a moment or two, but let us know think of DESIRE, for that is the real Emotive-power.

Desire originates in the sub-conscious regions of the mind, and often we can feel her there, before she emerges into consciousness, stirring us up with feelings of vague discontent and unrest. After a bit, gathering enough force, she emerges into the conscious field, and then begins to demand expression. Now remember, that when I say Desire, I mean all kinds of Desire, high and low. Many people think of Desire as only the craving of a low nature, but Desire really means a feeling that WANTS something- and that something may be the very highest aspiration of the human mind.

THE ATTRACTING POWER OF DESIRE

Now, this Desire in all of its manifestations has a mighty power of Attraction and Influence. It manifests as the Law of Mentative Attraction which is constantly drawing toward us the things we Desire, and also drawing us towards them. Not only is this true on the conscious plane, but even on the sub-conscious. Our desires constitute our Nature, and our Nature is always operating a mighty power of Mentative Attraction.

The trouble with the most of us is that we allow our Desire-Force to be scattered, and diffused, thereby lessening its Attractive Power. It is only when we learn the secret of Concentration and Focussing the Desire-Force by the Will, that we are able to get results above the average. The Will is the director and controller of the Desire-Force, and upon its training and management depends the powerful use of the latter.

THE EFFECT OF DESIRE-FORCE

Desire-Force not only has its effect upon the person, and others near him, but it may be, and often is, sent for thousands of miles where it affects and influences others, in ways. Desire-Force is the mighty Force which makes many of the forms of Mental Magic possible. It spreads out from the mind of the person, affecting and influencing others even at other parts of the world, if concentrated and directed by the Will. It is a force beside which the X-Ray and Electricity fade into insignificance. It moves not merely blind, lifeless things, but the living minds, thought, emotions, passions and actions of Men. It is the force that rules the world, and its destinies. Like any other great Natural Force it is capable of being used for good or evil. It is neither good nor evil- it is either or both, according to the mind in which it originates."

"I am a Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship in my own way, free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong, or free to choose those who shall govern my country. This heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all mankind." From the Canadian Bill of Rights, July 1, 1960.

"I believe there are more instances of the abridgement of freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments by those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations. ... The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home..If tyranny and oppression come to this land, it will be under the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." President James Madison

"When once a republic is corrupted, there is no possibility of remedying any of the growing evils but by removing the corruption and restoring its lost principles; every other correction is either useless or a new evil."~~- Thomas Jefferson

Vincenzo Vinciguerra stated, in sworn testimony on Operation Gladio in Europe: "You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force ... the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security."

"We annually spend on military security more than the net income of all United States corporations. This conjunction of an immense military establishment and a large arms industry is new in the American experience. The total influence -- economic, political, even spiritual -- is felt in every city, every State house, every office of the Federal government. We recognize the imperative need for this development. Yet we must not fail to comprehend its grave implications. Our toil, resources and livelihood are all involved; so is the very structure of our society. In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the military industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes." President Dwight D. Eisenhower in a televised speech 1961

Former Italian President Francesco Cossiga: "[Bin Laden supposedly confessed] to the Qaeda September [attack] to the two towers in New York [claiming to be] the author of the attack of the 11, while all the [intelligence services] of America and Europe ... now know well that the disastrous attack has been planned and realized from the CIA American and the Mossad with the aid of the Zionist world in order to put under accusation the Arabic Countries and in order to induce the western powers to take part ... in Iraq [and] Afghanistan."

John Swinton New York journalist at a banquet (1880's): "What folly is this, toasting an independent press? There is no such thing, at this date of the World's history, in America, as an independent press. You know it and I know it. There is not one of you who dares to write your honest opinions, and if you did, you know beforehand that it would never appear in print. I am paid weekly for keeping my honest opinion out of the paper I am connected with. Others of you are paid similar salaries for similar things, and any of you who would be so foolish as to write honest opinions would be out on the streets looking for another job. If I allowed my honest opinions to appear in one issue of my paper, before twenty-four hours my occupation would be gone. The business of the journalists is to destroy the truth, to lie outright, to pervert, to vilify, to fawn at the feet of Mammon [Biblical ref.], and to sell his country and his race for his daily bread. You know it and I know it, and what folly is this toasting an independent press? We are the tools and vassals of "rich men" [Biblical ref.] behind the scenes. We are the jumping jacks, they pull the strings and we dance. Our talents, our possibilities and our lives are all the property of other men. We are intellectual prostitutes."

"The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists". -- J. Edgar Hoover, FBI Director 1924-1972, quoted in The Elks Magazine (August 1956). "It is the duty of the patriot to protect his country from its [corrupt feudal] government." -- Thomas Paine. "Each of you, for himself, by himself and on his own responsibility, must speak". -- Mark Twain. "The money powers prey upon the nation in times of peace and conspire against it in times of adversity. It is more despotic than a monarchy, more insolent than autocracy, and more selfish than bureaucracy. It denounces as public enemies all who question its methods or throw light upon its crimes. I have two great enemies, the Southern Army in front of me and the bankers in the rear. Of the two, the one at my rear is my greatest foe." -- President Abraham Lincoln. "In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act." -- George Orwell.

"Zionism is but an incident of a far reaching plan," said leading American Zionist Louis Marshall, counsel for bankers Kuhn Loeb in 1917. "It is merely a convenient peg on which to hang a powerful weapon." The far-reaching plan is Illuminati world dictatorship. The Illuminati is the highest echelon of Freemasonry, an occult secret society dedicated to Lucifer. The world's central bankers have intermarried with the richest dynastic families of Europe and America to bring about world hegemony. They instigated wars and depressions to degrade and destroy humanity. The American people have been financing their wars since 1914.

Zionist Theodor Herzl "We Will Lead Every Revolution Against Us".

Mossad role in 9-11? The Washington Times, "Army study suggests U.S. force of 20,000" by Rowan Scarborough, 5 April 2002: Israel forces a "500-pound gorilla in Israel. Well armed and trained. Operates in both Gaza [and the West Bank]. Known to disregard international law to accomplish mission. Wildcard. Ruthless and cunning. Has capability to target U.S. forces and make it look like a Palestinian/Arab act."

"It is perfectly possible for a man to be out of prison, and yet not free - to be under no physical constraint and yet to be a psychological captive, compelled to think, feel and act as the representatives of the national state, or of some private interest within the nation, wants him to think, feel and act. "The nature of psychological compulsion is such that those who act under constraint remain under the impression that they are acting on their own initiative. The victim of mind-manipulation does not know that he is a victim. To him the walls of his prison are invisible, and he believes himself to be free. That he is not free is apparent only to other people. His servitude is strictly objective." Brave New World Revisited, Aldous Huxley, 1958In 1938, William E. Dodd, U.S. Ambassador to Germany, sent President Franklin Delano Roosevelt the following message: (as reported in George Seldes. Facts and Fascism, p. 122).

"The greatest obstacle to discovery is not ignorance ~ it is the illusion of knowledge." ~ Daniel Boorstin .[this is the illusion that the mainstream news media projects to the sheeple]

"A clique of U.S. industrialists is hell-bent to bring a fascist state to supplant our democratic government and is working closely with the fascist regime in Germany and Italy. I have had plenty of opportunity in my post in Berlin to witness how close some of our American ruling families are to the Nazi regime.... A prominent executive of one of the largest corporations, told me point blank that he would be ready to take definite action to bring fascism into America if President Roosevelt continued his progressive policies. Certain American industrialists had a great deal to do with bringing fascist regimes into being in both Germany and Italy. They extended aid to help Fascism occupy the seat of power, and they are helping to keep it there. Propagandists for fascist groups try to dismiss the fascist scare. We should be aware of the symptoms. When industrialists ignore laws designed for social and economic progress they will seek recourse to a fascist state when the institutions of our government compel them to comply with the provisions."

In 1933, Marine Corp Major General Smedley Butler was approached by a cabal of influential American bankers and industrialists working under the umbrella of the front group, American Liberty League. Their request of Butler: that he lead a 500,000 strong force of rogue veterans in a coup against FDR and the legal American government. The intent of this cabal, already supporting the efforts of Hitler and Mussolini in Europe, was to instill a government not unlike that of Hitler and Mussolini in the United States. Butler went along with the scheme until he was able to ascertain who the participants were. He then blew the whistle on this group before the House Committee on un-American Activities. For his efforts, Butler was ostracized and black-balled by the mainstream media;his testimony before the House Committee on un-American Activities was omitted from the record. The cabal was never brought to justice, but the coup was foiled. Who were the American bankers and industrialists involved in this plot to overthrow the legal government of the United States? According to Wikipedia, while most of the funding came from the Du Pont family, participants included U.S. Steel, General Motors, General Foods, Standard Oil, Birdseye, Colgate, Heinz Foods, Chase National Bank, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. And among the participants in this coup attempt was one Prescott Bush (who is the father of George Herbert Walker Bush, 41st president of the United States, and thus is the grandfather of George W Bush, current president of the United States). Prescott Bush was not only instrumental in bringing Hitler to power in Germany, Mussolini to power in Italy, but was also plotting to overthrow the legal government of the United States and establish a fascist state here. Prescott Bush served as a Senator from Connecticut and was a partner in the prominent investment banking firm Brown Brothers Harriman.

US General Smedley Butler wrote in his 1935 classic, "War Is a Racket": "I helped make Mexico safe for American oil interests in 1914," "I helped make Haiti and Cuba a decent place for the National City Bank boys to collect revenues in. I helped in the raping of half a dozen Central American republics for the benefit of Wall Street. I helped purify Nicaragua for the International Banking House of Brown Brothers in 1902-1912. I brought light to the Dominican Republic for the American sugar interests in 1916. I helped make Honduras right for American fruit companies in 1903. In China in 1927 I helped see to it that Standard Oil went its way unmolested." Butler acknowledged that he'd spent most of his thirty-three years in the Marines as "a high class muscle man for Big Business, Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism[ts]."

Wars are really a continuous stream of coordinated acts of terrorism, related to money and power instigated by the people who will benefit from the war and its expected end result. War is an instrument to expand economic power by destroying the national institutions and intelligent people of the victimized nation.

"In the counsels of Government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the Military Industrial Complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists, and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and goals so that security and liberty may prosper together." -- President Dwight Eisenhower, Feb 1961

"For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence--on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice, on guerrillas by night instead of armies by day. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published. Its mistakes are buried, not headlined. Its dissenters are silenced, not praised. No expenditure is questioned, no rumor is printed, no secret is revealed. It conducts the Cold War, in short, with a war-time discipline no democracy would ever hope or wish to match." -- President John F. Kennedy Waldorf-Astoria Hotel New York City, April 27, 1961. The US/UK/Zionist governments are deeply infiltrated by the Conspiracy.

"The interests behind the Bush Administration, such as the CFR, The Trilateral Commission - founded by Brzezinski for David Rockefeller - and the Bilderberger Group, have prepared for and are now moving to implement open world dictatorship within the next five years. They are not fighting against terrorists. They are fighting against citizens." -- Dr. Johannes B. Koeppl, Ph.D., former German defense ministry official and advisor to former NATO Secretary General Manfred Woerner

"The high office of President has been used to foment a plot to destroy the Americans freedom, and before I leave office I must inform the citizen of his plight." -- JFK

"Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." Henry Kissinger, quoted by Bob Woodward in The Final Days, 1976

The illegal we do immediately. The unconstitutional takes a little longer. "[The New World Order] cannot happen without U.S. participation, as we are the most significant single component. Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it's perceptions." -- Henry Kissenger, World Affairs Council Press Conference, Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel , April 19th 1994

"You can fool some of the people all of the time, and those are the ones you want to concentrate on." --- George W. Bush ..."Sarah, if the American people had ever known the truth about what we Bushs have done to this nation, we would be chased down in the streets and lynched." George Bush Sr. 1992

"I don't know where bin Laden is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." - GW Bush, March 13, 2002

The Art of Peace?

I've been getting fed up with ignorant people lately, so I came up with a new bumpersticker to make me feel better:

WHY IS PEACE SUCH A STRUGGLE WITH YOU PEOPLE?!

...and then right after I thought of that, I read this poem and it made me feel better. Here's a quote from it out of a book called "The Art of Peace", written by Stephen Longfellow Fiske.

By Being a Peacemaker

Peace?

Can we really know peace
in this world of distress?
Is peace just a fool's wish
that poets address?

Are we hopelessly bound
by war's travesty
like lemmings
helplessly bound for the sea

or can we rise
to a new destiny?

Has not history's rampage of war
made it clear
that the quest for peace
is the next frontier

and the maker of peace
the new pioneer?

Peace?

It seems rare,
elusive,
this peace

yet it is inherent
everywhere

within
the stillness of the heart

throughout
nature's symbiotic design

patiently calling from the soul

peace is

already here

already ours
if we would but awaken

to its presence

There is a peace powerful
there is a peace glorious
there is a peace majestic
which moves through the mountains and sky
and resounds throughout the splendor
of nature's magnificent and mysterious creation

It pounds in the surf
sifts through the sand
sings in the wind
is felt in the warm touch of a hand
is known in the silent stillness within

There is
a peace that nurtures
a peace that sustains
a peace that heals and restores
a peace that unites
a peace that rejoices
a peace that brings faith
in laughter
in tears
in joy
in a sigh
in sorrow
in forgiveness

There is a peace in birth
a peace in death
a peace in sleep
a peace in awakening
a peace that opens the heart
quiets the restless thoughts
and saturates the soul

A peace so powerful
we are humbled in its presence

A peace so powerful
that all our needs and deeds
are but grains in the sand of its tidal time
washed and rolled
turned and turned
again and again
surrendered in its current

We don't need to run after peace
but to accept it.

We don't need to protest for peace
but to live it.

We don't really need to "make peace"
but to choose it

We don't need to end conflict
but to understand peace

Now more than ever, let us build bridges
and create new possibilities
for ourselves and our world
by being Peacemakers
by knowing peace
by practicing, exemplifying
and teaching peace.

Lie of the Century

Click for "Lie Of The Century"

When are people going to learn that war is not the answer? When are we going to stop letting the power-mad elite take our country down the path of death and destruction? What do we do to stop them, when we know everything they are telling us is a distortion used to justify murder?

Manifest Destiny Revisited

I can't help but think George W. Bush (and his Theological Diplomacy) has got his mind set on a modern-day Manifest Destiny for the Middle East, instigated by the Project for a New American Century. I wondered if anyone else saw this analogy, so I googled up some great articles on it.

First, a little background on where the term originated: Manifest Destiny

Now let's see Bush's New Manifest Destiny, and his Psychology of Superiority. I don't think it's hard to draw a comparison here, especially when there's so many great articles out there about this. One could read for an entire weekend on this subject! Here's another great essay, this one concerning the barons and tycoons of the 21st C., so bent on profit that they bend their philosophy to justify their occupations of sovereign nations. Yes indeed, it seems Manifest Destiny Rides Again!

Maybe some Americans are still in that kind of mindset, but I seriously doubt it is a notion that many will find acceptable.

Another Round of Reckoning

Actually it's just another poem scrawled in my journal, so let's call it Journalizm #108:

Life is terminal, yet

Everlasting at the same time

At that critical crux,

The apex of an immeasurable complex

On which we walk a fine line

Down an axis of symmetry

A juxtapositioned reality

Of everything imagined

And its equal, opposite reaction

Yes it is what it seems to be

Whatever we make it out to be

Whether its balanced and free

Or shaped by the rigid pyramidic hierarchy

Claiming everything as property

Like some kind of chessboard monopoly

Controlling time and space?

Only a mastered individual

Can achieve the true global inner peace

Conquering the timelords of war

By destroying restrictions and limits

Claiming a sovereignty of timelessness

In immortal ambivalence

Moment-by-moment, forever endless

Without the shadow of a doubt

Or imagined demons of fear

The spectres of our collective reflection

Are the illusions clouding our mirror

But now here it's all clear

Tis what it is, tis what we make it out to be

All ways to infinity

From "Woman and Nature"

One small segment, though the vital heart, of the poetic prose masterpiece Woman and Nature by Susan Griffin, called "Lion in the Den of the Prophets":

She swaggers in. She is terrified of their white hairlessness. She waits, she watches, she does not move. She is measuring their moves. And they are measuring her. Cautiously one takes a bit of her fur. He cuts it free from her. He examines it. Another numbers her feet, her teeth, the length and width of her body. She yawns. They announce she is alive. They wonder what she will do if they enclose her in the room with them. One of them shuts the door. She backs her way toward the closed doorway and then roars. "Be still," the men say. She continues to roar. "Why does she roar?" they ask. The roaring must be inside her, they conclude. They decide they must see the roaring inside her. They approach her in a group, six at her two front legs, six at her two back legs. They are trying to put her to sleep. She swings at one of them. His own blood runs over him. "Why did she do that?" the men question. She has no soul, they conclude, she does not know right from wrong. "Be still," they shout at her. "Be humble, trust us," they demand. "We have souls," they proclaim, "we know what is right", they approach her with their medicine, "for you." She does not understand this language. She devours them.

--Go get the book Woman and Nature: The Roaring Inside Her and read the rest of Susan Griffin's amazing metaphorical meanderings on the nature of woman. It's been a great way for me, being a man and all, to see what goes on in the consciousness of Woman. It should be required reading, in my opinion. Maybe then there wouldn't be so many cocky male a-holes in the world trying to show how powerful and dominant they are over people they feel are lesser than them.

Here are some more quotes from Susan Griffin.

Another Rambling "Poem"

Concerning the general bitterness and apathy
Of modern American humanity, "civilized" by society
Unaware of their brainwashed mentality
Inundated by patriotic patriarchal propaganda
Propagated by the slavemaster pyramid scam plan to
Dominate and control every inch of the globe
Overthrowing the natural Balance of our collective soul
By instigating a perpetual cycle of violence
Attacking the psyche of every man, woman, and child
Born wild, yet socialized to death
Unless they fight it until the last breath
In a perennial struggle against falling fast asleep
Not to become like the living zombies, the sheep
Complacent conformists on the streets
Or rich tourists in their $300/night suites
Only here to enjoy the exploitation of Earth Mother
And to escape from the all-pervasive drudgery
The work-a-day monotony of capitalistic slavery
Has intelligent people fooled into knavery
And I can't say it's just naivete, cuz its not
It's more likely those tricks of the matrix
Has them enjoying the life of a robot
Programmed to follow every command ordered from the top
Including blind allegiance to every rigid policy
Restricting our freedom and subverting our democracy
For the favor of a few corrupt corporate CONmen
Posing as conservative, yet actually Neo-communist fascists
Wanting everyone to just submit silently, conform quietly
While corporations commit their coup d'etat
Hijacking this nation of minds for a criminal conspiracy
But soon they will see that a people born free
Will not easily be led back to slavery or tyranny
Cuz now there's too many of us that have awakened from sleep...

My Favorite Quotes

You gotta love Kurt Vonnegut: "I want to stand as close to the edge as I can without going over. Out on the edge you see all the kinds of things you can't see from the center." Now that's what I'm talking about...

Here's another one: "
True terror is to wake up one morning and discover that your high school class is running the country." Or worse, the frat boys in your college!

Brainyquote is the best quote site I know of...it will never get old.

For Our Mother

I just scrawled this one, so pardon if its a bit rough 'round the edges...

Save Our Mama!

Absent some monumental tragedy
A consequence of the Phallacy
Our true Mother, Nature
Will fall victim to the Patriarchy

Overcome by the pollution of excess
Imbalance on the global scale
Mass extinction must take place
The magnitude of which is beyond the pale

A grand awakening is our only hope
The collective Conscience can no longer be ignored
And i for one can only hope
We can all trade compassion for the sword

Mohammed must make peace with Jesus
Religions blend together as One
Prysmatic Truth to end the Apocalypse
As we all share this planet under the Sun

No more jihads, or missionaries with an Agenda
Its time we all just love and let live
Help our fellow beings and quit pretending
That we really know the truth from a myth

Cuz its those hellbent on creating Armeggedon
Threatening all life on this planet
But when those glaciers start sweating
There'll be no prophet that can save it

Sure, take what i say with a grain of salt
Throw it over yr shoulder if ya wanna
But alas, even those who will balk
Can't deny the truth of this matter

We are warming this place at an alarming pace
And may only have 20 more years to exist
As more and greater disasters take place
There'll be no more claiming its just a myth

"The end is nigh", the preacher sighed
It's been prophecied by the Revelation
But even with all the self-fulfilling scripture aside
It's almost too late for our salvation....

Friction's Release

Journalizm #4221

Life struggles against Death, without rest
Just as Fear tries to steal our breath
But Love conquers all, tiz invincible
Even against the divisive tendencies
Like the war between religious creeds
Proclaiming Righteousness, creating Evil
As a necessary scapegoat for the misunderstood
Matters of life, call them sins of the infidels
Justifying murder of fictional Devils
Who are just that part of us, unaccepted
And essentially rejected by moralist concepts
Whose foundation is mere dogma
Declared infallible, yet probably a phallacy
Perpetuated by the power of the Patriarchy
Holding on to the hierarchy, at any cost
No matter how many lives must be lost
The "Great" War will inevitably be fought
As long as we forget who we are, Just Be-ings
Who live our lives to learn about Love
How to express it and give it meaning
Beyond condemnation and righteous rhetoric
Blame, shame, and a judgmental ethic
We all know love is unconditional, indivisible
So why must we slaughter the innocent?
Pride and defensiveness?
Are we not all human, beings of God's reflection?

Let's all take a moment of Silence, for introspection
And give gratitude for our humble Existence...

Waist Deep in the Big Muddy

Wow. Here's a great poem I stumbled across in this old anthology I've been reading lately, it's called "Waist Deep in the Big Muddy" and written by Pete Seeger.

Waist Deep in the Big Muddy

It was back in nineteen forty-two,
I was part of a good platoon.
We were on maneuvers in Loozianna,
One night by the light of the moon.

The captain told us to ford a river,
and that's how it all begun.
We were knee deep in the Big Muddy,
but the big fool said to push on.

The sergeant said, Sir, are you sure
This is the best way back to the base?
Sergeant, go on; I've forded this river
Just a mile above this place.

It'll be a little soggy but just keep slogging
We'll soon be on dry ground.
We were waist deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool said to push on.

The sergeant said, Sir, with all this equipment
No man'll be able to swim.
Sergeant, don't be a nervous nellie
The captain said to him.

All we need is a little determination
Men, follow me, I'll lead on.
We were neck deep in the Big Muddy
And the big fool said to push on.

All at once, the moon clouded over
We heard a gurgling cry
A few seconds later, the captain's helmet
Was all that floated by.

The sergeant said, turn around men
I'm in charge from now on
And we just made it out of the Big Muddy
With the captain dead and gone.

We stripped and dived and found his body
Stuck in the old quicksand.
I guess he didn't know the water was deeper
Than the place he'd once before been

Another stream had joined the Big Muddy
Just a half mile from where we'd gone.
We were lucky to escape from the Big Muddy
When the big fool said to push on.

Well, I'm not going to draw any moral,
I'll leave that to yourself
Maybe you're still walking, you're still talking
And you'd like to keep your health

But every time I read the papers
That old feeling comes on:
We're waste deep in the Big Muddy
And the Big Fool says to push on.

Loving George W. Bush

What a guy, that W. He has singlehandedly (Dick Cheney's hand?) reinvigorated American politics with the most controversial policies since the days of Viet Nam. He's got so many of us riled up over blatant lies and war-profiteering and trying to kill Social Security with his salvation plan, among countless other issues, that we the people are once again a force in America. I'm just amazed at how the crookedest Administration in history is still not getting in trouble for their blatant corruption and scandalous dirty tricks, when there are so many people calling for their heads! What do we have to do to get our voices heard by the Republidrones to shake them up and wake them from their sleepy lemming-like state? It's essential that we instigate change soon, or else the warmongering will continue in the name of "peace and liberty"....and the blood will be on all our hands. We need to show the crooks that we are not going to let them rob us blind with their no-bid defense contracts, Social Security scams, and other ways of stealing from the poor to give to the rich. It's getting so bad now one might think Bush was the Anti-Robin Hood or the Anti-Buddha!

So when is the proverbial poop gonna hit the proverbial fan over Bush foreign policy?

It might start when the world begins to hold our military and leaders responsible for the war crimes committed in Iraq, especially the Iraqi's "9/11" (started on November 9) in Fallujah. And here's some facts about Depleted Uranium, which the US has used in both Iraq Wars to the detriment of ALL soldiers and citizens of that country. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not an "America hater" and of course I have compassion for the average soldier, but when it comes to these war crimes I believe there must be justice for the victims. The blame should go all the way to the top of the command chain.

I wonder how many of us have considered yet just how many of the Iraqis in Abu Ghraib were not guilty of any crime, yet were "coerced" by torture and shameful degradation. I'm sure we really don't want to know...especially those like Rumsfeld and Gonzales and Bush, who were responsible for shaping the torture policy in Iraq and everywhere else.

Fleeting thoughts about the world today

OK, so Love is a trite subject. It's been studied as a mystery probably since the beginning of human consciousness and it's not like I'm going to figure something out that hasn't already been explained. So it's time to move on to something new- the news. That should juxtapose well with the postings on Love.

There's so much going on in the world, where should one begin? We've got gay whores in the White House, pandemics breeding in Vietnam, an Iraq War killing hundreds of innocent civilians a week, a President of the United States who thinks its more important to be macho than it is to tell the truth, and a country half-full of people who are in such a state of denial about government corruption that they have turned their President into a neo-savior. Half of America is in love with Mr. Bush, while the other half (and possibly more) are fed up with his policies and would do anything to see him impeached. You can put me in the latter category, since I have no respect for anyone who would mislead a nation into war and effectively destroy a sovereign nation, just to go down in history as a "war president". Frankly, it's disgusting to me to think that America can "liberate" the world, since it's more of the same Manifest Destiny BS that's been killing innocent people for hundreds of years. Christian Reconstuctionism and Theocratic Dominionism are the new terms for it, and let me tell you it is scary.

What we need is a new way of understanding the world, one that focuses on positive change with healing means, rather than using things like religion, war, and threats to intimidate others into submission. The first step is to learn to do as Jesus said: Love Thy Enemy. Many Christians tend to forget that little suggestion, instead focusing on issues like gay-bashing and abortion...but where are those self-righteous values going to lead us except to more war, hate, and violence? Loving the enemy means being unconditional with humanity, understanding that we are all subject to the law of gravity, we are all affected by our social environment, and we are all capable of overcoming hatred with compassion. But when righteousness gets in the way, there is no understanding, only a my-way-or-the-highway outlook that leads to conflict. In that way, radical fundamentalist Christianity can be at least as dangerous as Rad-fundy Islam. Maybe one day we can all "live and let live", but until then the world is just going to get crazier and crazier...

Love's Day

I've been thinking again (watch out)...

We should all make Valentine's Day everyday, just find something special to share with those we love, some little treat to make their day a little better. Give 'em roses on a Wednesday next time, let's just try it out....it can't hurt to show love, right?

For that matter, let's make Christmas everyday too. And Thanksgiving, as long as we change the historically shortsighted symbolism of it, maybe it could just be a day for showing gratitude. And how about Martin Luther King day? Or Earth Day? ...that couldn't hurt much either.

Maybe we could subtract all the mindless consumerist garbage that's produced from the individual holidays and just live everyday like a holy day.

I don't know. I'm just sick of the waste and now I just heard that most of the chocolate that we splurge on for Valentine's Day in America is made from child slave labor. You know, between that and being single right now, I'm pretty much over Valentine's Day. I'm laying it all on the line, it's all or nothing at this point, I got nothing to lose.

Speaking of cliches.... Here's some words on love for the lover in all of us:

...

"In order to create there must be a dynamic force, and what force is more potent than love?" --Igor Stravinsky

"Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same." --Anonymous

"Love is missing someone whenever you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close at heart." --Kay Knudsent

"Perhaps love is the process of my leading you gently back to yourself." --Antoine de Saint-Exupery

"Each contact with a human being is so rare, so precious, one should preserve it." --Anais Nin

"Love is a sacred reserve of energy, it is like the blood of spiritual evolution." --Teilhard de Chardin

"I feel that there is nothing more truly artistic than to love people." --Vincent van Gogh

So Happy Everyday's Valentine's Day to Everyone!!
